Among the numerous civic nobility of the Kingdom of Naples, few had “piazze chiuse” with absolute division of the classes. Among these cities was Pozzuoli, registered in the “Registro delle Piazze dichiarate chiuse” only in 1858. It was characterized by several families, almost all of wich are still flourishing today.
