From common land use to private ownership: the Aymerich farm in Mara Arbarey County (18th century)

This essay reconstructs the slow path of the passage from the communal use of land to the formation of private property in modern-day Sardinia, with particular reference to the formation and management of the Marchese di Laconi’s agrarian estate in the County of Mara Arbarei (today’s Villamar).
