The essay, after a brief analysis of the demographic trend in Sardinia between the nineties of the last century and the first decades of the year 2000, describes the phenomenon of demographic decrease in the geographical area of the former province of Medio Campidano, with its three sub areas, where the municipality of Villacidro is located. Of the latter town, the natural and migratory balances of the last decades are analyzed, with a specific focus on the migration flow directed abroad and, above all, to Europe.Downloads
