Ethical dilemas in the psychology professional

Introduction: the ethical training and the practical exercise of the experts in Psychology is fundamental in the decision making process, faced with the experiential dilemmas that arise during the course of their professional practice. Objectives: To determine the influence of ethical dilemmas in the profession of the psychologist. Methodology: A documentary, cross- sectional, descriptive bibliographic investigation was carried out, through which information is collected from different databases such as: Scielo, Dialnet, Redalyc, Google Schollar, among others; to obtain results with the different types of analyzes performed in each of them, to obtain conclusions with a minimum margin of error, through a triangulation of data. Results: Professional ethics is closely related to morality, general principles and deontological rules, the place to develop a set of competencies, which are addressed, knowledge, skills and courage actions that guide the exercise, directions to elementary eminent judgments of effectiveness. Conclusion: The influence of ethical dilemmas in the profession of the psychologist represents a harmful state, therefore, negatively affects their professional practice, since the established ethical principles and moral norms are violated, thus ensuring that the rights of others are defenseless. It is for this reason, that one should keep in mind that a dilematic situation will depend so much on the behavior, discipline and integrity of the professional.Downloads
