Abstract

Dyslipidemias or hyperlipidemias are disorder slipid in the blood by high levels of cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia), triglycerides (hypertriglyceridemia), or both of them (mixeddyslipidemia). Obesity and dyslipidemia are found commonly associated due it is very likely that there is a dyslipidemia phenotype in people with a Body Mass Index (IMC) between 25.2 and 26.6 Kg / m2. The results of dyslipidemias show a common dyslipidemic pattern: increase in TG, increase in non-HDL cholesterol (VLDL, LDL) and decrease in HDL cholesterol. Material and methods. Descriptive, correlation alcross-sectional investigation.Techniques: interview and survey. Instrument: questionnaire validated by experts. Blood samples were taken from each participant and cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, VLDL, total lipid swere evaluated. With the height and weight data, IMC was calculated to assess malnutrition in excess. The data was processed in Excel 2013. Results: 60 employees participated. 98.3% were male, between 28 and 60 years old, of which 63.33% are custodians, 75% with secondary education level, married 40.35% presented hypercholesterolemia, 16.67% hypercholesterolemia + hyper LDL, 40% hypertriglyceridemia, none presented decreased HDL, 13.33% elevated LDL, 36.66% elevated VLDL, 10% hypertriglyceridemia + hyper LDL, 16.67% mixed dyslipidemia, and 8.33% mixed dyslipidemia + hyper LDL, 36.66% with normal weight, and 53.33% over weight, 8.33% with obesity grade I and 1, 66% with grade II obesity, 26.66% over weight / hypercholesterolemia, 28.33% over weight / hypertriglyceridemia, 15% over weight / mixed hyperlipidemia. The LDL and VLDL values are directly correlated with excessive malnutrition (overweight / obesity). Discussion. There sults are similar to others in the region. Malnutrition in excessit has a direct proportional correlation with lipoprotein values. It is necessary to improve the diet they consume to prevent cardiovascular disorders.
