Our aim is to analyze from a global perspective the treatment given by the Majorcan press to the emigration between the late nineteenth century and the First World War. We have taken some articles from periodic press including La Almudaina or El Felanigense, and we have defined some key points such as migration networks or abuses against migrants. It is common in the press a critical analysis about emigration and political authorities.Downloads
