Conquistadores extranjeros en la Conquista del Paraguay (1536-1600)
Keywords:
Conquista, Paraguay, Poblamiento, DemografíaAbstract
The proportion of foreigners in the conquest of Paraguay was nearly four times more important than in the others provinces of Spanish America, due to the particular context in which the first expeditions to the River Plate were organized. Those foreigners contributed in the conquest of the territory and in the economic and demographic growth of the province. They may also have influenced politically a colonial society known for its resistance against the royal authorities since the begging of its existence.Downloads
