Clothed devotion. Preliminary Analysis of the Clothed and Crowned Madonnas

The essay is a preliminary theoretical’s study on a phenomenon that is not only Italian: Le Madonne coronate e vestite. The paper examines the social and cultural geography of this devotion as a connection with the territory and representation and medium between human and extra-human.
