The article deals with three Sardinian military chaplains: Father Luciano Usai, Don Antonio Maria Ledda and Don Giovanni Antonio Ciceri. After September 8, 1943 they decided to follow Benito Mussolini in Salò. The essay also shortly examines the splitted organization of the Military Ordinariate both in the Italian Social Republic in the north, with its capital Salò, and in the south under the leadership of General Badoglio.Downloads
